Your angelic ways
have charmed me well.
I was pleased when you captured me.
I, a free woman, became

Pain becomes pleasure,
Hate became love,
Darkness became light.
My happiness was your delight.
We were happy,
so in love,
and then you betrayed me.
You revealed your true self.
You were no angel of light,
you were an angel of darkness.
You charmed me with your demonic ways.

Light is darkness
Life is death
White is black
Pleasure is pain
Love is hate,
Freedom is captivity. (and always has been)
I loved you,
but you used me.
You took advantage of this love
this beautiful love I gave you.
A love so strong,
I swore it couldn’t be shattered.
But you did.
I gave you my heart
and you broke it.
I’m right here
picking up the pieces.
There are so many,
