Open up your eyes.
What do you see?
You see the sun set
and the moon rise.
The light dies
and the dark lives.
Bright stars
illuminate the skies.
In this sea of black high above us
reminiscent to life,
but, we are also reminded
of hope, an end to strife.
Darling,
what do you see now?
We kiss the moon goodbye
as the sun greets ‘Ciao!’
A sign of hope again
comes our way.
So now we realize
Tomorrow will be a better day.
